What if you find another test date elsewhere?

During the period when we're conducting a search for your preferred test date and center, it's crucial that you refrain from booking a test elsewhere or informing us of any such intentions. This is because, during our search process, we incur upfront costs to secure your booking, utilizing your driving license to hold and reserve potential test dates while facilitating a swap into your preferred slot.

If you happen to notice a random test date appearing on your license, don't be alarmed. This is simply part of our process, leveraging your license information to facilitate the swap into your desired test date. Therefore, it's important not to cancel any such dates you may see, as doing so would only result in a 50% refund. Rest assured, our team is diligently working to secure the best possible test date for you.

What if I am not happy with the test date?
If the reserved test date doesn't meet your preferences, we'll send it back, and our system will notify us to find another date that suits you better which takes anywhere up to 14 working days depending on test time, date and centre. It's important to note that within the £240 fee, you're allowed to skip up to three test dates. Beyond this limit, an additional charge of £240 will apply.

What if I want to change my test date?

The majority of Test Dates booked through this service are fixed, meaning they cannot be changed unless another customer is willing to swap with you. If the Test Date purchased is swappable, you'll be notified upon confirmation. It's crucial to be absolutely certain about your Test Date before confirming to avoid complications.

How will I get confirmation?

Once your test is successfully booked, you will receive an email directly from the DVSA. Any changes to your test will be communicated by the DVSA through email or a phone call. In certain situations, we may request you to handle the DVSA email confirmation yourself, which is a straightforward process outlined below: To receive your DVSA email confirmation and test results, visit https://driverpracticaltest.dvsa.gov.uk/login. Log in using your driving license number and booking reference. Update details in the candidate section. You will receive an email from the DVSA within 5 to 10 minutes upon completion. The email must be updated to ensure any changes made by DVSA will be sent. Please provide us with a screenshot of the DVSA email once it arrives in your inbox. All proof of bookings can be accessed on the DVSA website.

Is the next for Automatic or Manual?

All test dates provided by Speed Booking UK cover both manual and automatic transmissions, depending on the type of car you bring on the day. If you bring a manual car and pass, you will be licensed to drive both manual and automatic vehicles. However, if you pass in an automatic car, your license will be limited to driving automatic vehicles exclusively thereafter.

How long will it take to find me a test date?

We endeavour to secure a Fast Track Test date for you within 7 to 14 working days of payment confirmation. If the provided Test Date doesn't meet your satisfaction, we'll conduct another search for your specific requirements. Remember, the finder's payment includes up to three searches. Additionally, if you opt for a test date already in stock, we can offer a discount ranging from 10 to 20% due to better available rates.

If You Have a Test Already Booked:

You're only permitted to have one test booked at a time on the DVSA system. To arrange a new fast-track booking for you, I'll need to cancel your current test and book a new fast track test date. You can expect a refund from the DVSA within 2 to 5 working days for your current test. Once cancelled, I can proceed to book your new test immediately, and the refunded amount will be credited back to the original payment card.

What if the test date is changed by the DVSA test centre or external factors?

Speed Booking facilitates driving test bookings through the DVSA (Driver Vehicle Standard Agency). We are an intermediary service, connecting customers with the DVSA to secure preferred test dates and times. However, we want to clarify that Speed Booking is not responsible for any changes made by the DVSA, as it is a government entity overseeing driving tests. Once the DVSA confirms your test booking, any subsequent changes are beyond our control.

Although DVSA test changes are rare, they can occur due to external factors such as weather conditions, instructor availability, administrative adjustments, or unforeseen events like pandemics. If your test is rescheduled by the DVSA, you'll receive an email directly from them with the new details. Speed Booking is not involved in this process.

For inquiries about test changes, please contact the DVSA directly. While we strive to provide a reliable service, we cannot be held responsible for DVSA-initiated changes. By using our service, you agree to these terms, understanding that our liability is limited to facilitating the initial booking.

Why Do Prices Vary?

Fast track driving tests dates start from  £190 (Including DVSA fees)  depending on test time, date, centre & agency charges. We collaborate with various driving test agencies and schools to offer a wide selection of test dates. Our prices differ based on the rates charged by each agency we work with for booking your test date.

Refund Policy

When it comes to refunds from Speed Booking, we provide a £62 refund for weekday tests and a £75 refund for weekend tests. Please note that all other administrative fees are non-refundable. We kindly ask you to consider this policy before making a purchase. While test dates are typically fixed, depending on the agency through which your test is booked, there may be an opportunity for test swapping. For more details on this process, please refer to the "Test Swapping" section.

If you're dissatisfied with the allocated test date, you can request a refund, and our software will notify us once another suitable test date becomes available. Please be aware that within the £240 fee, you're entitled to skip only three test dates. Beyond this limit, a charge of £240 will apply again
