At Speed Booking UK, while our primary service is securing fast-track driving test dates across the United Kingdom, we’ve noticed many customers face challenges finding available driving instructors. This can be especially inconvenient when their current instructor isn’t available on the test day. To solve this, we’ve partnered with various driving schools and instructors to help our customers find the right instructor when needed.
*Lead Time:*
We can arrange for a driving instructor as quickly as the next day through our driving school network. Please note, this may come at a premium, but it is possible! The more notice you give us, the better rates we can secure from instructors, and the higher chance we have of fulfilling the service. We encourage clients to provide as much advance notice as possible. An admin fee will only be charged once you confirm you’re happy to proceed with the instructor’s availability and rates.
*How the Process Works:*
We charge a one-time admin fee, ranging from £70 to £100, once we’ve found an instructor with availability. After payment, you’ll be given direct access to the instructor, who will become your point of contact. This admin fee covers our service for connecting you to the instructor. All further payments for lessons or car use will be made directly to the driving instructor.
*Instructor Rates:*
Instructor rates vary depending on availability and urgency. Typically, hourly rates range from £30 to £60, depending on factors like the need for a car on short notice or if you book a package of lessons. We always confirm the cost of lessons and car usage for the driving test before you pay the admin fee, ensuring you're happy with the arrangement.
*Our Instructors:*
All our instructors have high pass rates, generally over 82%. They are local to you and familiar with the test routes, giving you the best chance of passing your test successfully.
