How soon will I receive my confirmation?

After payment is received, most confirmations are sent within 2-3 hours. However, during weekends, bank holidays, or busy periods, this can take up to 48 hours.

Can I change my test date after booking?

In some cases, test swaps are possible depending on the agency through which the test was booked. Contact our admin team to confirm if your test is eligible for swapping. Additional fees for swapping may apply, ranging from £30 to £70.

What happens if I already have a test booked?

If you already have a test booked and want to fast-track it, we’ll need to cancel your existing test. Once canceled, the DVSA will process your refund (typically within 2-5 working days), and we can secure a new test for you.

Why do prices vary?

The price of fast-track driving test dates varies depending on the test center, date, and fees charged by the agencies we work with. Prices start from £190 (including DVSA fees). Weekend and peak-time tests may incur higher fees.

Refunds and Cancellations

Can I get a refund if my test is canceled?

We provide a £62 refund for weekday tests and a £75 refund for weekend tests if your test is canceled by the DVSA. However, all other administrative fees are non-refundable.

What is your refund policy for test bookings?

We offer refunds only for the DVSA fee if your test is canceled. All other charges, including agency and service fees, are non-refundable.

Test Day and Rescheduling

What happens if my test is rescheduled by the DVSA?

If the DVSA reschedules your test due to factors such as weather or instructor availability, they will notify you directly. Speed Booking UK is not liable for changes made by the DVSA.

Can I reschedule my test once booked?

Rescheduling your test depends on the agency handling your booking. Contact our admin team to check if a change is possible and the associated costs.

What should I do if I fail my driving test?

If you fail, we can help you book another test. However, the DVSA requires at least 10 working days between tests. Saturdays count as working days, but bank holidays do not. Be sure to plan accordingly.

Yes, Speed Booking UK offers driving test bookings for both manual and automatic vehicles. If you pass in a manual car, you can drive both automatic and manual vehicles. If you pass in an automatic, you’ll only be licensed to drive automatic vehicles.

Do you cover all UK test centers?

Yes, we cover most test centers across the UK, with a focus on London and surrounding areas. Check our website or contact us for availability at your preferred center.

External Factors and DVSA Changes

What if the DVSA changes my test date?

The DVSA may reschedule your test due to factors like weather or examiner availability. In such cases, the DVSA will notify you. Speed Booking UK is not responsible for these changes.
